The A, B, Cs of Adopting the Christian Faith

AdmiT you have Sinned

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.

- Romans 3:23

For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

- Romans 6:23

If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

- 1 John 1:9

From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, “Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.”

*Confession is void without repentance. To repent is to ‘change one’s mind’ or to turn — to go in another direction.

- Matthew 4:17  .

Believe on Jesus Christ and His finished work on the Cross

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him believe on the Name of His Son Jesus Christ might be saved.”

- John 3:16-17

Repent, and believe in the gospel.

- Mark 1:15

So they said, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.”

- Acts 16:31

And this is His commandment: that we should and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

-1 John 3:23

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, lest anyone should boast.

- Ephesians 2:8-9

Confess Christ

if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.  For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

- Romans 10:9-10

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek.

- Romans 1: 16

Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.

- 2 Corinthians 6:2b

OuR eternal life hinges upon receiving these truths. Don't Wait! Say 'yes' to Jesus Christ right now.
Your Baptism is your Fresh Start!

The Fresh Start video teaching series is designed to give everyone an encouraging space to understand who God is and what having a relationship with Jesus means for your life. Hopefully many of the tough questions will be answered that may have challenged your faith.

The first five lessons focus on your foundation and walk with God. The second group of videos builds on the truths needed to move forward and walk out your purpose as a believer. Each video is roughly 8-12 minutes in length.

So why the Fresh Start curriculum before baptism, Growth Tracks, Membership or connecting with a team? Because it is our aim at Growth Point to Lead and Connect you to Jesus no matter what point you find yourself in life. If you are new to the Christian faith, or just need a Fresh Start in your relationship with God - you are not alone.

We believe that these video will assist in giving you the understanding and the tools you need to grow.

It's time for your Fresh Start.
